WinPlates has been designed user friendly. It is easy to draw the system, easy to apply and modify properties of plates, beams, columns, and ribs, and it is easy to visualize and inspect the results of all the different calculations.
WinPlates is a new Windows-based software package for computation of continous isothropic and orthotropic plates (for instance ribbed). The calculculations can be applied to systems with or without pliable beams and disc-effect (coupled disc-plate), subjected to concrete, steel or composite concrete and steel.
WinPlates visualizes drawings of plates, beams, ribs, and columns in both two and three dimensions. In the 3D visualization window, it is also easy to rotate and zoom in/out to get the best possible view of the construction.
